A man found dead inside his Ann Arbor home Tuesday likely died of natural causes, police said this morning.
The 50-year-old man had multiple symptoms of a serious heart ailment that were found during an autopsy Wednesday, Detective Sgt. Jim Stephenson said.
His name is not being released pending family notification.
Officers and firefighters forced open the door to his home in the 3100 block of Charing Cross Road at about 2 p.m. and it appeared he had been dead for at least a few days, officials said.
The man's dog was also found dead, and an autopsy of the pet is pending as a precaution, Stephenson said.
